I am particularly interested in the Constitution, and how it is overlooked whenever it gets in the way of what the government wants. I believe that the entire Bill of Rights applies to individuals, including the 2nd amendment. Under the 14th amendment (which I don't necessarily agree with, but it is there and applies) the states cannot make laws that infringes on an individual's right to have guns and carry guns, or any other weapon.

I visit Packing.org a lot. I post only occasionally, but it's a GREAT source of information.
I don't have a Glock so I don't visit Glocktalk. They are great guns but they don't fit me as well as the Beretta does
I read the link and I'll tell you I've been reading this kind of gun related incidents for 45 years and crime is as bad as ever. So more needs to be done then arming ourselfs and somekind of gun control is needed. There must be ways to control guns without infringing on gun owenership.
Cincinnati has been a free fire zone most of the summer.

I still don't believe one is safe just because one is armed.
I read the post you put on my blog, good one.
Patches-
I have been looking into Ohio recently. There is basically a gun ban in Cincinnati. It's not a total ban, but it's close. Apparently Ohio CCW laws require Cincinnati to allow concealed carry, but the city (from what I can tell so far) has been finding ways around it and loopholes that allow it to still ban most guns. Not to mention that in Ohio it is almost impossible to legally actually use a gun in self defense, IF you even are able to own one. So your comment on crime in Cincinnati just confirms what I am saying... Here in Arizona where almost ANYONE can carry a gun, our violent crime is very low.
But honestly- while allowing people to carry does reduce crime (a benefit to SOCIETY), the single biggest reason people should be allowed to carry is the personal right to be able to defend oneself without the government telling you that you can't (a INDIVIDUAL freedom, and PERSONAL dignity). Here is a situation where giving the people the rights they want will benefit society as well. It's win-win, but for some reason people feel the need to impose control on others. And in places like Cincinnati, the gun control mindset is literally costing lives, and reducing the quality of life for everyone (do you feel safe in your city?)
